TRCA VOLUNTARY PROJECT REVIEW AND PROJECT COMPLIANCE REVIEW 2025

Summary report on letters issued through the TRCA Voluntary Project Review (VPR)/TRCA Project Compliance Review (TPCR) regarding works undertaken by organizations exempt from the Conservation Authorities Act regulations.

TRCA 2026 BUDGET

The final phase of the 2026 municipal budget process requires that the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) Board of Directors approve TRCA’s 2026 Budget in accordance with the requirements of O. Reg. 402/22.

SECTION II - ITEMS FOR EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE ACTION

9.1

DISPOSITION TO THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF PEEL FOR THE GORE ROAD RECONSTRUCTION, HUMBER RIVER WATERSHED (CFN 54891)

The Regional Municipality of Peel has requested from Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (“TRCA”) an additional conveyance of TRCA owned lands located on the west side of The Gore Road and south of Hwy 9, in the Town of Caledon, required for The Gore Road Reconstruction Project, Humber River watershed (CFN 54891).

SECTION III - ITEMS FOR THE INFORMATION OF THE BOARD

10.1

PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE CONSERVATION AUTHORITES ACT (BILL 97) AND REGIONAL CONSOLIDATION OF ONTARIO’S CONSERVATION AUTHORITIES

To provide an overview of the proposed amendments to the Conservation Authorities Act in Schedule 3 of Bill 97, Plan to Protect Ontario Act (Budget Measures), 2026 and the decision by the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) on the boundaries for the regional consolidation of Ontario’s conservation authorities (ERO# 025-1257).

SECTION IV - PERMITS ISSUED UNDER SECTION 28.1 OF THE CONSERVATION AUTHORITIES ACT

11.1

STANDARD DELEGATED PERMITS FOR RECEIPT - STAFF APPROVED AND ISSUED - April 10, 2026

Standard Delegated Permits are processed by Development and Engineering Services Division staff, approved by senior staff designated as Authorized Signatories by the Board of Directors and received monthly by the Executive Committee. Standard Delegated Permits are categorized as: standard, routine infrastructure works, emergency infrastructure works, minor works, and permits after the fact/resolution of violations.
