Approval of proposed amendments to the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) Board of Directors Administrative By-Law, which address administrative updates, including the removal of TRCA’s Hearing Rules as an attachment in exchange for a stand alone Model Hearing Guidelines document endorsed by Conservation Ontario (CO) and the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR), and other updates to address Conservation Authority Act (CA Act) amendments and regulations. 

Receipt of a request from Nobleton 2715 Developments Limited and King Township, for a permanent easement for a sanitary sewer on Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) owned lands located north of Paradise Valley Trail  and west of Samson Trail (closest major intersection southwest of  15th Sideroad and Hwy 27), in the Township of King, Regional Municipality of York, Humber River watershed (CFN 71362).

Receipt of a request from the City of Pickering, for a permanent easement of Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) owned lands located north of Finch Avenue and east of Brock Road, in the City of Pickering, Regional Municipality of Durham, required for existing Stormwater outfall south of Saffron Drive for the Kindwin Subdivision in Duffins Precinct, Duffins Creek watershed (CFN 71379).

Receipt of a request from the City of Brampton, for a conveyance of Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) owned lands located north of Church Street East and west of Ken Whillans Drive, in the City of Brampton, Regional Municipality of Peel, required for Downtown Brampton Flood Protection Project, Etobicoke Creek watershed (CFN 71378).

Award of Request for Tender (RFT) No. 10042329 to Hohol Enterprises One Limited (“Hohol”) requires additional scope of work for the supply of all labour, equipment and materials necessary to implement dredging and restoration works for an additional ditch adjacent to the Heath to Simpson Dredging and Restoration Project, City of Brampton.

Award of Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 10042823 for a Vendor of Record (VOR) arrangement for supply and delivery of various aggregates to TRCA projects.

Award of Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. 10042719 for the supply, delivery, and licensing of Class 3 Trucks.

Award of Request for Tender (RFT) No. 10042594 for the supply of labour, equipment, and materials to install a new hydro service for the Tommy Thompson Park Nature Centre.

Award of Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 10042322 for modernizing Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s (TRCA) customer management and service delivery for public-facing services at TRCA parks, trails, education and events programming.

To provide information to the Board of Directors regarding the proposed financial plan to support the Financial Systems Modernization Project.

Award of Request for Tender (RFT) No. 10041714 for the construction of Morningside Legacy Project – Station 1 was approved in October 2024 in the amount of $175,846.98 (excluding HST) per TRCA’s Procurement Policy and Expense Authorization. Approval is required to amend Contract No.10041714 to Hawkins Contracting Services Limited in the amount of $270,216.36, plus applicable taxes.

Updated overview of Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s (TRCA) residential dwelling real estate portfolio and proposed go forward strategy to conduct additional due diligence involving internal divisions and partners towards re-use and rationalization of potentially surplus residential dwellings in the most effective and efficient manner within the context of O. Reg. 686/21: Mandatory Programs and Services (O. Reg. 686/21).

Request to increase Purchase Order (PO) amount for Vendor of Record (VOR) agreement #10003898 to address increasing costs beyond the existing contract in support of the refresh program for end user devices and the supply of technology services.

Seek approval of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) and the City of Toronto (the City) in response to Toronto City Council’s decision to expand the mandate of the Chief Information Security Office (CISO). The MOU will establish the terms and conditions of a collaboration between the two organizations in working towards common cybersecurity goals.

Request from owner of the property at 50 Lake Forest Drive to free the property title from a TRCA easement and a restrictive covenant in order to pursue development of the vacant portions of the property with another single-family dwelling. Pursuant to Sections 4.2 and 4.3 of the Conservation Land Act, Conservation Authorities require the consent of the Minister for the release of the easement and discharge of a restrictive covenant.
