Regional Watershed Alliance Meeting #3/24 was held via video conference, on September 18, 2024, pursuant to section C.12 of the TRCA’s Board of Directors Administrative By-Law. The Chair, Anna-Louise Richardson, called the meeting to order at 6:34 p.m.

The Chair recited the Acknowledgement of Indigenous Territory.

Malhar Patel and Dhara Parsania provided an update on TRCA’s Youth Council activities, which include a litter clean up, sustainable and organic gardening workshop, participation in Girls Can Too sessions, a planting event, participation in the upcoming TRCA National Day for Truth and Reconciliation events and the Albion Hills Conservation Area controlled burn.

Anna-Louise Richardson spoke to some of the events taking place in October 2024 which commemorate the 70th anniversary of Hurricane Hazel.

John MacKenzie, Chief Executive Officer advised that the TRCA Adventures of Salmon at Morningside Park was a successful event and encouraged members to take part in upcoming TRCA events
