YOUTH COUNCIL 2023-2024 ANNUAL REPORT AND MEMBERSHIP UPDATES

To receive Regional Watershed Alliance (RWA) approval of the composition of the 2024-2025 TRCA Youth Council Executive and the appointment of two Youth Council Executives to fill the RWA Youth representative vacancies, as well as to present the 2023-2024 Youth Council Annual Report which provides highlights of the Youth Council’s term

SPILL RESPONSE WITHIN TRCA JURISIDICTION

To provide an overview of TRCA and agency roles and responsibilities with respect to pollutant spills in Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s (TRCA) jurisdiction, including the August 11, 2023 fire at 35 Vulcan Street, Etobicoke, March 2017, Highway 9 Fuel Spill at Glen Haffy Conservation Area and February 2022, Bluffers Park Oil Leak

TRCA SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES UPDATE

To provide an update on the work of Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s (TRCA) Sustainable Communities’ Business Unit and to request input from RWA members on the best practices, issues, and opportunities around the maintenance of green infrastructure
