Partners in Project Green Meeting #3/24 was held via videoconference, on Tuesday June 18, 2024. The Co-Chair, Michelle Brown, called the meeting to order at 9:36 a.m.

The Co-Chair recited the Acknowledgement of Indigenous Territory.

    IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT the presentation by Chaya Chengappa, Program Manager, Sustainable Communities, regarding the Partners in Project Green Waste Diversion Program, be received for information.

Jennifer Taves, Senior Manager, Sustainable Communities, spoke to the Futureproof Your Fleet Program event occurring today in Markham. Jennifer mentioned that there would be similar events to be held in Durham Region and the final event in the Greater Toronto Area which would include a tour of the Hydrogen Refuelling Station located at the Pearson International Airport.

Jennifer also reported that the May 7, 2024 workshop on 'Climate Ready Towers' was a successful event with a number of participants. A report analyzing the results of the workshop and feedback will be prepared before deciding on next steps.

Darryl Gray, Director, Education & Training, introduced Kathryn Lockyer, Director, Legislative and Property Services, and Julia Shipcott, Deputy Clerk. 

John McKenzie, Chief Executive Officer, reminded members to visit TRCA's Events Calendar and encouraged everyone to attend events, programming, and webinars of interest to them.

ON MOTION by David West, the Partners in Project Green Executive Management Committee meeting was adjourned at 10:40 a.m.
